We had heard mixed reviews from when it first opened but decided to swing in recently to give it a chance. The staff was great. The food was good. The portions were huge. We will be back!

Food is delicious! Service is good, and the options ensure that you don't run out of choices. The atmosphere inside is a groovy beach vibe in west Texas!

Finally tried The Boat. Our experience was great. The oysters on half shell were awesome, the horseradish was off the charts and the food got there promptly. We had to let it cool before we could eat it. The service was good and the pricing blows the competition away. Don’t let bad reviews keep you away. They have definitely got it going on now. The dessert was awesome as was the service.

I ordered the Chicken sandwich. I was a little skeptical on this choice because it was on long bread. The waitress recommended this sandwich. It's was a great choice! I loved it!! If I could give The Boat 10 stars I would.
